SOCIAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP:

Social Media Intern Job Responsibilities:
Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
Manages the company’s social media accounts and posts content.
Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
Monitor various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websites
Create and distribute content such as newsletters, infographics, videos and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets
Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
Support marketing team at live and online events
Social Media Intern skills and qualifications:
Required:
Experience with the major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snap and Google+
Experience with content management systems and word processor applications
Proficiency with image/video editing software
Strong planning and organizational skills
Preferred:
Experience with social media analytics software including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics and Twitter Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance
Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator
Familiarity with Google Suite
Expectations:
Estimated 10 hours/week with flexible scheduling / ability to work remotely. This internship will run for 6 months. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required. .
Compensation:
The Social Media Intern will receive a $150 stipend per month at the end of each month for the duration of their internship.
